Youth Ministry: About Us
Waynedale UMC Youth Ministries
exists to reach non-believing teenagers, to connect them with other Christians,
to help them grow in their faith, to challenge teenagers to discover their ministry, and honor God in their life.
Weekly Gatherings
Coming to a weekly gathering gives students an opportunity to meet new people, get to know our group, and get to know God through discussion. Our weekly gatherings are open to all 6th-12th graders, not just our church's students. On a monthly basis we have Student Table which is a leadership team and we have service projects.
Sunday Mornings from 10:00-10:45 am
Every Sunday morning we gather together for Sunday School which has a Bible Study. During this time students are separated into two groups high school and middle school to discuss topics relevant to their lives. Students will be lead deeper into God's Word during this time. Students are able to build relationships with each other.
Sunday Evenings from 5:30-7:30 pm
Every Sunday evening we gather together for Youth Group. We have a lesson about God's Word and share our lives with a group of caring and loving people. There is also time to hang out and be goofy.
